The breakfast had plenty of options: slices of fresh bread, porridge, pancakes, scrambled eggs and cakes. The rooms were new-fashioned and luxurious with a fine big bed. Its location a 10-15 minute walk from St Joseph's was marvellous and peaceful. You could walk to shops and retailers.

Hotel proprieters are very helpful. 4 of us stayed for a fishing weekend and they provided drying facilities, freezing of trout and good local advice. Breakfast was excellent and ther is a very pleasant lounge area. Good location for centre of Callander.

If there is one minus it is that the lectric showers are a bit weak

This is a family run hotel and the welcome we received was second to none. The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The host was very forthcoming with information regarding places to eat and where to go in the area. Within walking distance to all amenities Would stay again if in the area. Private parking.

The cozy room welcomed us, but the late check-in caused stress before the wedding.

The friendly welcome, helpful staff and the lovely decor in the rooms and in the lounge / breakfast area. The breakfast was lovely too.
The only issue I have is that there was a handheld shower in the bathroon which wasn't very convenient.

Abbotsford Lodge is an excellent place to use as a central location to stay while making day trips to areas in the central Highlands of Scotland. The accommodations were exceptional as were the host and staff. The food was delicious and plentiful. I would recommend a stay there to anyone who is looking for luxury, friendly staff, and good food in a convenient location.

Friendly welcome. Up to date decor. Homely feel. Nice lounge area. Staff well prepared for breakfast which was to a high standard and beautifully presented. Not the usual tired out of date rooms. Good parking facilities. A very enjoyable stay. Would recommend to others.
Television was affected by weather conditions. A minor detail!

The attention to detail from the receptionist was excellent. Each interaction was handled with care.
The garden view could use some additional maintenance.

Very warm welcome when we arrived, very pleased with the family/triple room. Although the room had shared access to a bathroom you had washing facilities within the room. Would recommend this guest house.
